As-Salam Islamic Center is committed to sharing the message of Islam and fostering a Muslim community based on the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. We strive to create unity in the local Muslim community and promote understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims in the Roanoke area.

    • Monthly/Weekly Activities

    Below are the weekly activities that are currenntly going on at ASIC. The activiites are also listed on the calendar:
  • Qur'an classes for kids on weekdays. Contact us for the latest timings and to enroll your kids.
  • Sunday school (currently from 10:45 to end of zuhr prayers).
  • Qur'an halaqah & breakfast for brothers after Fajr on Sundays
  • Qasas al-Anbiya series after Isha on Saturdays.
  • Monthly family potluck dinner on the second Saturday of each month unless advertised differently.

    ASIC intends to provide a well-rounded and robust Islamic center for the community. To that end, we offer or plan to offer:
